Eight Amazing, Kid Pleasing Fruit Jelly Snacks

{Refined Sugar-free}

Looking for quick, fun snacks to make for the little ones to tuck into between meals? We’ve found the perfect recipes for you to try. For these eight easy recipes, all you need is gelatin, some sugar-free flavours, natural sweeteners, and molds or pans to create some magic.

Did you know gelatin is great for skin, bones, nails, hair…oh and joints too? And it’s also a good source of protein. Aside from using it in these kid friendly jelly snack recipes, scoop gelatin into soups, smoothies, or other dishes (some people even put it in coffee,) and you can reap the health benefits of this handy supplement.

If possible, try to find gelatin that’s from grass fed and from sustainable sources.

Now for those recipes!

From “The Coconut Mama”:

Ingredients & Equipment

Gelatin: Vital Proteins Beef Gelatin  (Brand suggested by the Coconut Mama)

Flavor {Ideas}: Fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, organic fruit juice (not from concentrate), natural calm tea, coconut water, coconut milk, acerola powder(vitamin c), goji/pomegranate powder or dried fruit.

Note: Some raw fruits like kiwi, mango, pineapple and papaya contain enzymes that break down gelatin and should not be used in these recipes. Pasteurized juices do not contain enzymes and can be used.

Natural Sweeteners: Raw honey, maple syrup, stevia, coconut sugar or organic cane juice. {We suggest keeping to honey, maple syrup, or stevia if you want to avoid refined sugars.}

Molds or Pans: You can use fun heart, dinosaur or star molds or a small bread pan to make your fruit snacks in.
